Black & White

Black and White are a duo. They're named opposite to their colors, don't get confused! Black's main skill is magic, but he doesn't fight until he's regained some of it later in the story. Eventually you can use him to revive other allies. White doesn't use any magic, instead he has some really strong physical attacks with his shovel.
